MAKING OF A DOSA ON DOSA NIGHTS - PART 1

I never get tired of seeing Dosas. In my forever hunt of food-stalls in and around Bombay ( and everywhere else ), I came across this one ( a south-indian stall ), that had not one but three dosas being made, at one go. I could only ogle with my mouth watering. And the Dosa comes at Rs.35/-

HOME AND PARKING ON THE STREETS

I was returning home the other day, when something caught my eye. This broad road-divider, below a busy flyer. And since it is broad enough to fit a person, someone decided to make it his home. I don't blame him. With the fly-over above as a roof, and the iron-grills on both sides of the divider as his walls, I guess the man is quite comfortable in his home. Encroaching? Ah..I think he is making good use of public-space ;-) Would've loved to know his story; how he actually landed there.

A few steps ahead, in another block of the same divider, someone even parked his bi-cycle. See the chain and lock? Amazing to say the least!!! This one surely had an attitude to it!

A DAY AND EVENING THAT WAS

During the day, this particular scene caught my eye ~ see below. No its not outside a two-wheeler shop. Instead, this is in front of a railway-station - there was a flood of these, outside it. And by the way, this happens everyday. The bikers leave their two-wheelers outside the station and go to their offices via local train. Whole day, these bikes remain parked here ( they pay some monthly parking amount ). In the evening, the owners return via local train again and pick them up on their way back home. Incredible India, right ;-)

And this scene caught my eye in the evening. No, that's not some building's terrace light on top. That's the MOON, doing a peek-a-boo ~ not far from my home :-)

SAVED BY TIBBS FRANKIE

Well...well...I must've said thousand of times, cooking and me don't go together. I do manage to make something edible, like the simple chappati/bhaji/omlette below. But still, at the end of the day, I need bahar ka khana just like Tibbs to save my day :| The Tibbs Frankie near my place, costs a bomb, though comes in different interesting fillings. I bought 2 - Veg @55/- Chicken @75/-
